What time should I wake up?

Wake-up time options — multiple alarm clocks at different morning hours from 5 AM to 9 AM with a sunrise

The best wake-up time is one you can maintain consistently while still allowing enough sleep. Work, school and family responsibilities may determine the time, but you should then arrange bedtime around it. Most adults need at least seven hours of sleep, and many need closer to eight or nine. Waking at roughly the same time each day helps regulate the body's internal clock, making it easier to feel alert in the morning and sleepy at night. Weekend wake times should ideally remain reasonably close to weekday times. If you regularly need several alarms, feel exhausted in the morning or sleep much later on days off, your bedtime may be too late or your sleep quality may need attention.
